While our entertainer runs the games, the singing and the face painting, you get to take photos, talk to the other adults and deal with the cake instead of trying to hold thirty children's attention on your own.

Home parties, community halls, play centres and park shelters all work. We arrive early enough to change and set up out of sight, so the character walks in rather than unloading a car in front of the guests. If you are booking a park in summer, a morning slot is worth considering, because full costume and forty degrees are not natural companions.

Choosing the right length and age group
Toddlers aged two to three do best with one hour, and a fairy or a clown is the gentlest introduction.
Children aged four to eight can happily fill one to two hours with a character party or a disco.
Eight-year-olds through to teenagers usually prefer a disco or DJ package, where the music and games are aimed a little older.
We can also send two characters to a single party, which works well for larger guest lists or when siblings want different themes.
